Highs & Lows is built with your privacy as a priority. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.

What data we collect

Highs & Lows collects minimal data to operate:

Where your data is stored

All your moments and personal data are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Your data is private to you and is not transmitted to our servers. If you enable iCloud backup on your device, Apple may back up this data as part of your standard iCloud account, governed by Apple's own privacy policy.

What we do not do

Sign in with Apple

We use Sign in with Apple for authentication. Apple handles all authentication and we receive only a unique user identifier. We do not receive your email address unless you choose to share it. Apple's privacy policy governs how Sign in with Apple handles your data.

Subscriptions and payments

All payments for Highs & Lows+ subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information. Subscription management, billing, and cancellation are handled through your Apple ID and iPhone Settings.

Notifications

If you grant permission, the app sends local push notifications for daily reminders and weekly recaps. These notifications are generated on your device and do not involve transmitting any data to our servers. You can disable notifications at any time in your iPhone Settings.

Children's privacy

Highs & Lows is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Deleting your data

You can delete all your data at any time by going to the app's Settings and tapping "Delete account." This permanently removes all your moments and personal information from your device.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
